Australian Tours and Cruises is proudly Australian owned and operated, with roots tracing back to 2003 when we first began offering Day Tours in Cairns, Far North Queensland. What started as a small local venture has since evolved into a leading travel business, originally expanding across seven niche websites. These specialised in everything from 4WD hire to Cape York, guided tours to iconic destinations like Tasmania, and adventurous outback safaris through Cape York and the Gulf Savannah. Australian River Cruises also became a standout addition, offering relaxed, scenic travel experiences across the country’s most iconic waterways.
In 2018, the business came under new ownership, bringing fresh energy and direction. Since then, we’ve grown to represent nine distinct travel brands:
